The 2006 survey is available now online, and depending on your answers, it should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. We want to thank you in advance for your responses and let you know that the CCIE team reads each and every comment, and carefully considers all feedback as we plan for the coming fiscal year (starting August 1, 2006).
We also want to take this opportunity to mention some changes we made in the program over the last twelve months, as you begin to think about what changes you'd like to see us make in the coming year.
Added New Lab Exam Locations
* CCIE Voice Lab is now available in RTP, North Carolina and in Sydney.
* CCIE Service Provider Lab is now available in Beijing
Updated Lab Exam Equipment
* CCIE R&S Lab Exam now covers Cisco 3800 Series routers, and IOS versions 12.2 for Cisco Catalyst 3550 switches and 12.3 mainline.
* CCIE Voice Lab Exam now includes Cisco Unity Express Network Module and IOS version 12.4(3a).
Introduced the CCIE Assessor Lab
* Visit the CCIE website http://www.cisco.com/ccie/assessor/ to find out more about Cisco's first official CCIE practice lab and assessment.
Improved TAC Service Request Handling
Service requests initiated by active CCIEs with valid support contracts are now being routed directly to the core support team in Cisco's Technical Assistance Center, for better service and faster resolution. Additionally, CCIEs are now able to initiate a Severity 2 service request online and attach related documentation to help bring the support technician up-to-speed on the case.
Last, but not least...come see us at Networkers
Representatives of the worldwide CCIE team will be at Networkers Las Vegas in June and Gold Coast, Australia in September, and also expect to attend the European and Asia conferences as well. If you're a CCIE, join us in celebrating your status as a CCIE with a complimentary recognition gift, and if you're a candidate, take advantage of the learning opportunities available at the conference: free written certification (and recertification) exams, CCIE Techtorial Sessions and a demo of the new CCIE Assessor Lab.
